After a warm welcome... read more from our host Graeme, we took a stroll along the grape vines before settling into our comfy armchairs among the 1870’s wine barrels, where we were treated to the most incredible antipasto platter I have ever experienced in my life and the attached photo is my evidence!!

Graeme was just incredible in terms of service whilst also sharing a down-to-earth knowledge of the vineyards products.to us wine rookies.

10/10 all the way- service, food, fine and the most incredible setting in the ‘barrel lounge’. If you like wineries, this one takes the cake!

In 2021 l was lucky enough to have been gifted an adopt-a vine (Shiraz) and a picnic voucher... read more that came with a bottle of wine a 2 glasses. It has been difficult to get there from Brisbane a suitable time. However, traveling up from Orange on a chance your luck moment we rang and ask if we could use the voucher that afternoon. The answer was yes. Although that voucher was no longer valid due to changes in the businesswe were treated to the most spectacular tasting board full of local cheeses, meats fruits and so much more. This we shared over 4 wine tasting in the lovely tasting lounge. Leanne’s hospitality and wine knowledge were a treat. The ambience of the lounge lovely. Afternoon treat - We had a delightful afternoon with family at the Ballandean Estate.
I must admit that it has become our regular place to bring family or friends when visiting us.... read more This time we had a Gourmet Grazing Platter and Tasting Paddle per couple and once again they were superb and accompanied by generous tastings of our pick of wines! It’s an absolute must to come here with an appetite as the platters were choc a block with delicious assortment of food and they cater for gluten intolerance too. Ballandean Estate has the perfect relaxing atmosphere of wine cellar and is complimented with huge aging wine barrels in rows along the wall.
Service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and that has been the case every time we have visited, busy or not. It is a little way out of Stanthorpe, but definitely well worth the trip.

... read more /> The lady whom conducted our wine tasting was so lovely, captivating, authentic, knowledgeable and you could see her love and passion for the wine and the business in the way she spoke; it was such a lovely experience.

Then there was the wine - WOW factor, cannot believe I have never had the pleasure of consuming such fruit from the Gods previously. Was so proud to think that such gorgeous top quality wine was being produced in our own backyard by Aussies.

Ballandean Estate is a MUST SEE venue, MUST DO wine tour and MUST TASTE & BUY WINE.

Could not recommend highly enough!

Outstanding - It’s worth lingering fireside with a cheeseboard. A fitting setting with some of the best wines in Queensland.
